ILLINOIS — A grateful mayor gave thanks, announcing that a new Costco could soon by coming to one suburb.

Meanwhile, OpenTable unveiled diners' top 10 Illinois eateries, while another suburb celebrated the opening of an Italian restaurant in a historic downtown building.

The FDA issued a warning letter to the company about the "significant violations." Any Illinoisans who use the brand of toothpaste and have noticed a strange taste or smell from the product aren’t alone, according to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration, which recently detailed how bacteria was found in some of the company’s products and black mold was discovered at a facility.

New Italian Restaurant Moves Into Downtown Space

The new restaurant, whose name means "garden" in Italian, is a family-friendly, garden-inspired eatery that specializes in wood-fired pizzas and classic Italian dishes, such as bolognese and eggplant Parmesan. Giardino Trattoria is the second restaurant to open in the historic Hobbs Building, just a few months after Leilani Asian Fusion opened its doors in August.
