ILLINOIS — As one business makes the "difficult and emotional decision" to close its doors, new eateries are popping up throughout the suburbs.
Meanwhile, one town says it's ready for a local brewery, a Jimmy John's drive-thru is poised for approval, and new eatery is looking to be inclusive — and family friendly.

Aurelio's Location Will Serve Last Slice June 30
It's been just over 12 years since the Aurelio's location opened. In what owners Celeste and Steve Wagner are calling a "very difficult and emotional decision," the pizzeria will close for good at the end of June, they said.
Steakhouse Coming To Suburb
The restaurant is seeking a license to serve beer, wine and cocktails as well as a separate license known as BYOB, allowing customers to bring their own alcohol. It'll open in July if all goes to plan.

They offer breakfast, brunch, coffee flights — hot or iced — and more. The restaurant, most recently home to a burger joint, has undergone a full remodel and is now open.

A brewery is seen as "an economic driver to bring other potential businesses" to town, the town's economic development director said, while the mayor called it a "proactive change."

A local couple previously ran "a lazy beach bar in southern Mexico" for nearly 10 years. Now, they've opened a new family friendly eatery featuring "typical bar food with some twists," including burgers, sandwiches, salads, corned beef tacos and a specialty item called the Tornado: "Delicious cone-shaped bread, Milano's creation, filled with your favorite option."

Business Owner Creates Jerk Sauces For Pizza, Cheesecake, Ice Cream, More
The chief executive officer of CG Foods II Inc. makes his own jerk pizza, different flavors of jerk ice cream including vanilla and butter pecan. Grimes makes a delicious cheesecake called Island Cheesecake. He even makes a jerk sweet potato pie. "This is all research and development. We call this the test kitchen. All things jerk," Grimes proclaimed. "I do something with jerk 365 days a year. That's my niche. That's my gift."
