Veer Lavingia, of Elmhurst, photographed a sunset at a soy farm in Geneseo. "This photo captures a calm evening moment — a field at sunset with the sky painted in soft oranges and blues," he tells us. "The focus on the grass in the foreground against the fading light gives it a peaceful, end-of-day feel, like the world slowing down after a long day."
