Rain Expected Wednesday, Temps In The 50s For Chicago Area
Monday will be windy with gusts as high as 25 mph, and temperatures will fall after a cold front in the afternoon, the weather service said.

ILLINOIS — Temperatures will be seasonable this week for mid-November, with a chance of rain on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
There is also a slight chance for lake effect rain showers on Monday night.
The high for Monday is 60, 52 on Tuesday, 57 on Wednesday, 55 on Thursday and 59 on Friday, according to the current forecast.

When Will Chicago Area See First Snow Of The Season?
The question on everyone's mind: when will the first snowflakes fall? The normal first date of measurable snow (.1 inches or more) is Nov. 18.
No snow is in the forecast this week, and the weekend looks to have a high near 60 degrees, according to the weather service forecast.
While it doesn't always snow in November in Chicago, historical data does show that 1.8 inches of snow is average for the month. Temperatures also drop quite a bit on average through November, with an average of 47.6 degrees on Nov. 1, and an average of 35.2 at the end of the month.
