Teen Fight Damages Restaurant

Police are working to identify the participants in the fight. A video of the incident a teen pushing over a table, knocking over the table as well as another boy, before punches started flying. A GoFundMe says the brawl caused thousands of dollars in damages to the restaurant. One person was hurt, police said.>>Read More.

High winds may have caused the canopy at the Shell gas station in the suburbs to collapse, officials said. One person was inside a vehicle when the canopy collapsed.>>Read More.

Terrorism, Hate Crime Charges Filed Over Shooting Of Jewish Man

Video of the shooting that appears to show the gunman shouting "Allahu Akbar" and his targeting of a visibly Orthodox person on Sabbath led to immediate calls for hate crime charges, and the mayor's omission of the victim's religious identity from an initial statement about the shooting prompted criticism. "I'm appalled and sickened by the wicked behavior that came from this individual, and as someone that comes to this job with a deep sense of faith and moral clarity, my stance and my position is lived out every day in this job," the mayor said.>>Read More.

Ex-IL National Guardsman Pleads Guilty To Felonies Tied To Jan. 6: Authorities

Former guardsman Joseph Bierbrodt immediately grabbed a U.S. Capitol Police officer by the torso, pushed the officer into a wall, spun the officer around and shoved the officer into the arms of a rioter, authorities said. He then encountered a line of police restricting his access further into the building, according to the department, which said that after he left the building, he stayed on the Capitol grounds for nearly three hours.>>Read More.
