Temps Near 80 For Mother's Day, Sunshine For The Weekend
Temperatures will gradually warm through the weekend, with a high of 70 on Saturday and a high of 79 on Sunday.
ILLINOIS — After some possible rain on Friday night, the weekend looks to be warm and dry, according to the National Weather Service forecast.
Conditions will be dry during the day on Friday, before some showers and isolated storms move into the area. Any shower or storm may also produce gusty winds, the weather service said.
The high for Friday is 68 degrees.

Temperatures will gradually warm through the weekend, with a high of 70 on Saturday and a high of 79 on Sunday. Saturday will be breezy with gusts up to 25 mph, according to the weather service.
"Additional rain and storm chances are expected Sunday night through Tuesday," the weather service said on its Facebook. There is a limited thunderstorm risk on both Sunday and Monday.

The start of the week will also have warmer temperatures, with a high of 74 on Monday.
