Scattered storms will then likely redevelop on Tuesday afternoon, and some storms could be strong to severe. The weather service said severe storms will be possible across the entire area, with the highest threat east of the Interstate 55 corridor.
These storms will redevelop after 1 or 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

Temperatures remain warm on Wednesday, with a high of 81, according to the weather service. Severe storms are also possible late Wednesday.
