Is Your Pet A Patriot? Get 4th Of July Pet Photos Featured On IL Patch

Dogs may not like fireworks, but we are convinced they like to strut in stars and stripes. See how to get your pet featured on Patch.

ILLINOIS — Let us paws and take a moment to appreciate the unspoken, patient patriotism of our pets: the solemn St. Bernards in Uncle Sam hats, the chipper chihuahuas twirling in red, white and blue tutus, the visibly nonplussed cats captured grimacing on film milliseconds before shaking off of their shimmery USA tiaras.

Illinois Patch wants to celebrate these long-suffering sidekicks in its 2025 Fourth of July Pet Pic Roundup. Here's how to get your photo featured on Patch.
