1 Killed In Lake In The Hills Crash
The two-vehicle collision happened Thursday morning at the intersection of West Algonquin Road and Harvest Gate.
LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — One person was killed in a Thursday morning collision in Lake in the Hill Thursday morning, authorities said.
The collision happened at about 6:20 a.m. when a white 2003 BMW X5 collided with a Kia Forte at the intersection of West Algonquin Road and Harvest Gate, according to a news release from the Lake in the Hills Police Department.
Both drivers were taken to area hospitals and the driver of the Kia Forte died from injuries while at the hospital, according to the news release.

The driver of the BMW was treated for injuries at the hospital. No one else was injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
