4 Injured in 5-Vehicle Crash Near Huntley
The Huntley Fire Protection District responded to the collision at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Route 47 and Foster Road.
HUNTLEY, IL — Four people were injured in a five-vehicle crash that happened Saturday afternoon at Route 47 and Foster Road north of Huntley, according to authorities.
The Huntley Fire Protection District responded to the collision at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Route 47 and Foster Road, according to a news release from the fire protection district.
One person injured in the collision was taken to Northwestern Hospital in Huntley and then taken by helicopter to Condell Hospital "due to assessed injuries," according to the news release. Another person was taken to Northwestern Hospital's emergency room in serious condition and two others were taken to Sherman hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
