Coroner IDs Algonquin Woman Killed In Crash

The 30-year-old driver killed in a two-vehicle collision Monday night has been identified as Angela Parisi.

LAKE BARRINGTON, IL — A 30-year-old Algonquin woman killed in a crash in Lake Barrington Monday night has been identified as Angela Parisi, authorities said. The collision occurred when a 2004 Nissan Altima headed south on Kelsey Road just north of Flint Creek Road drove off the road and into a ditch.

The Nissan, driven by Parisi, hit a tree, causing the car to roll onto its roof before coming to rest back in the roadway before being hit by a southbound 2002 Toyota Camry.

The driver of the Camry, a 39-year-old Fox River Grove man, sustained minor injuries in the crash and was taken to Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, according to a news release from the Lake County Sheriff's Office.

Parisi was pronounced dead at the scene. Lake County Coroner Howard Cooper determined Parisi died from multiple blunt force injuries from the car crash, according to authorities.
