Chicago Man Accused Of Threatening Ex's Life: Report
The report says he's accused of breaking into his ex-girlfriend's house and threatened her life.
ALGONQUIN, IL — A Chicago man is accused of breaking into an ex-girlfriend's Algonquin home and threatening her, leading to felony charges, according to a report.
Eric Almazan, 26, is accused of breaking into the woman's North Main Street house on Dec. 12, the Northwest Herald reported.
The report says he's accused of entering through a broken glass window and, subsequently, of choking her and threatening her while in possession of a knife. "I want to kill you," he is accused of saying.

Court records show the case was continued on Friday, Dec. 27, and will be in court for his plea on Jan. 3.
