Coronavirus In Algonquin: At Least 19 Confirmed Cases

The McHenry County Department of Health is reporting 19 cases of coronavirus in Algonquin, and 18 in Lake in the Hills as of April 14.

ALGONQUIN, IL — The McHenry County Department of reports 266 cases of the coronavirus as of Tuesday, and eight deaths. In Algonquin (zip code 60102), there are 19 confirmed cases, and 18 in Lake in the Hills.

For the Crystal Lake zip code 60014, there are a reported 30 cases.

State health officials said 1,222 new coronavirus cases have been detected in Illinois since Monday and 74 more people have died across as the outbreak continues to spread. The state's total number of coronavirus cases is now more than 23,247.
