Coronavirus In IL: LITH Playgrounds, Ball Courts Closed
However, the Village of Lake in the Hills said the Bark Park, trails, bike paths and other open spaces remain available for the public.

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — Village officials are reminding Lake in the Hills residents and community members that not all facilities are open, including playgrounds and skate parks. In a news release update, the Village said that in an effort to protect public health and remain in compliance with the state's Stay-at-Home order, the following are closed to the public through April 7:
- Playgrounds
- Basketball courts
- Tennis courts
- Volleyball courts
- Skate parks
However, the Village said the Bark Park, trails, bike paths and other open spaces remain available for outdoor activity.

In an effort to reduce the potential exposure of our police first responders during the period that McHenry County is impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) the Police Department will be temporarily adjusting our response procedures. To file a report or complaint that is of a non-emergency nature, citizens are requested to continue to call the non-emergency line at 847-658-5676.
