Dundee Twp. Democrats, Republicans Pick Nominees In 2021 Primary
Dundee Township recorded a voter turnout of less than 2 percent during the 2021 primary.
DUNDEE TOWNSHIP, IL — Just over 700 voters in Dundee Township headed to the polls Tuesday to decide several primary races, a turnout of 1.92 percent.
Christopher Kempf earned the Republican nomination for Dundee Township highway commissioner by picking up nearly 79 percent of the vote in his race against Gerald Harvel, according to unofficial election results.
With just a few dozen Republican mail-in ballots not yet returned from Dundee Township, according to Kane County Clerk John Cunningham, Harvel will not be able to overcome Kempf’s lead of more than 250 votes.
