Experience Howling Halloween Fun During Boo at the Zoo
This fall season, guests of all ages can dress up in their favorite costumes and head to Randall Oaks Zoo for its annual Boo at the Zoo.
This fall season, guests of all ages can dress up in their favorite costumes and head to Randall Oaks Zoo for its annual Boo at the Zoo. The Halloween-themed event, which takes place on Saturday, October 30, and Sunday, October 31, features memorable photo opportunities, sweet treats, and the beautiful autumn backdrop of Randall Oaks Park.
Boo at the Zoo will once again offer guests safe, affordable, family-friendly entertainment. Trick-or-treat throughout the Zoo, enjoy animal shows at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm, and a bonfire from 12:00-5:00 pm, plus guests may also hop aboard a hayride throughout Randall Oaks Park for an additional charge.
Guests are encouraged to dress up and partake in our costume contests at 1:00 pm each day for a chance to win a Zoo membership. Categories for the costume contest are as follows: ages 3 & under, ages 4-6, ages 7-14, and adults. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 in each category.

Everyone can participate in trick-or-treating throughout the Zoo. Please bring your own reusable bags or containers to collect goodies.
Boo at the Zoo will take place rain or shine from 9:00 am-5:00 pm each day.

Admission to Randall Oaks Zoo is $4.00 for Dundee Township residents and $4.75 for nonresidents; children ages one and under are free. After visiting Boo at the Zoo, guests can share their photos on social media with the hashtag #RandallOaksZoo.

Let your curiosity run wild! Randall Oaks Zoo features 160 animals for viewing, petting, and feeding. Some zoo highlights include cows, mini horses, a camel, sheep, goats, an emu, an alpaca, reptiles, rabbits, chickens, pigs, foxes, and birds, including a Red-tailed hawk, peacocks, and a bobcat, to name a few.
