Final Store At Spring Hill Mall Will Close

WEST DUNDEE, IL — The final store at Spring Hill Mall in West Dundee is slated to close.

The Kohl's store at the shuttered mall in West Dundee is among two in the state that will close. The other is a longtime Kohl's store along Route 59 in Plainfield. Kohl's plans to close 27 total stores across the U.S. by April.

"While Kohl's continues to believe in the health and strength of its profitable store base, these specific locations were underperforming stores," the company said in a release.

It also said all associates have been informed of the closure and offered a severance package or the ability to apply to other open roles at Kohl's.

The Kohl's was the final store at Spring Hill Mall, which officially closed last March.
