Garbage Rates Will Increase In September For Algonquin Residents
The new rates will take effect on Sept. 1.
ALGONQUIN, IL — Fees for trash pickup will increase in September for Algonquin residents.
Sticker fees will be increasing from $3.40 to $3.49 and the trash cart program will increase by 53 cents from $21.27 to $21.80, according to Shaw Local News Network. In addition, the optional yard waste cart program will go up to 23.20 per month from $22.63.
Curbside recycling will remain free. The new rates will take effect on Sept. 1.
