K9 Locates Missing Girl At Abandoned Home In Lake In The Hills
McHenry County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Jeremy Bruketta and his canine partner Kelt worked together to find the missing girl, 16.

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — A McHenry County sheriff canine helped track down a missing teen girl at an abandoned house in Lake in the Hills, officials said. The Lake in the Hills Police Department took a report around 7:44 a.m. Wednesday in the 1-100 block of Appletree Court for a missing 16-year-old girl.
Police developed leads that indicated the girl was last seen in the Lake in the Hills area.

McHenry County Sheriff Deputy Sandra Rogers said Sgt. Jeremy Bruketta and his canine partner Kelt were called Thursday evening to assist the Huntley and Lake in the Hills police departments in the search.
K-9 Kelt began a track at Indian Trail Beach, 228 Indian Trail in Lake in the Hills, and led officers to an abandoned house nearby.

Officers located the juvenile girl safe and uninjured, Rogers said.
Last night K9 Kelt & his partner, Sgt. Bruketta, were requested by Huntley PD & Lake in the Hills PD to assist in locating a missing person. K9 Kelt was able to successfully track the missing person who was located uninjured.
