Kirkland's Closed Abruptly Only to Prep for Nearby Opening

Those prowling for pictures, knickknacks and other home decor items can no longer look to the Algonquin Commons Kirkland's.

The store at 2112 S. Randall Road shuttered with little notice this past spring, reported the Daily Herald this week. But those who frequented it are in luck — it will reopen in another local space later this month.

Its new spot is nestled in the Woodscreek Shopping Center.

"The store will fill the area near the old Famous Footwear store, which has been under construction to make way for the new Kirkland's," the story says. "Famous Footwear moved one storefront over to the north."
