Homes Sought For Lake In The Hills Halloween Decorating Contest
The deadline to register for this year's house decorating contest is Oct. 18.
LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — Are you planning to decorate your house for Halloween?
All Lake in the Hills residents can enter the village's Halloween House Decorating Contest for a chance to win bragging rights for the best decorations, a yard sign to show off your achievements and a $50 gift card, according to a news release from the village.
Entries will be judged based on originality, color, lighting, overall display and curb appeal. The registration deadline is October 18 at 5 p.m. Voting will open on the village's social media pages on October 21 and will run through noon on October 30.
