Lake in the Hills Police: Man Charged with DUI, Leaving Accident Scene

Note: The following information was obtained from Lake in the Hills Police arrest reports. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

DUI, Leaving Accident Scene

Raymond J. Aleman, 46, of the 400 block of Plum Street, Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 6:36 p.m. Sunday, July 7, at Algonquin and Randall roads. He was charged with:

• Aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol
• DUI with a blood-alcohol content over .08
• Leaving the scene of a property damage accident
• Failure to give information
• Failure to notify police of an accident
• Failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident
• Operating an uninsured motor vehicle

Aleman was turned over to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock. 

Wanted on Warrant

Jason J. Sellers, 30, of the 20 block of North Maple St., Addison, was arrested at 8:55 a.m. July 6, on a warrant out of McHenry County for failure to appear in court for a traffic offense. Bond was set at $5,000, 10-percent applies. He was released on bond. 

Cristian A. Valladares, 21, of the 300 block of Fox Hunt Trail, Barrington, was arrested at 5:25 p.m. July 6, near Crystal Lake and Algonquin roads on a warrant out of DuPage County for failure to appear in court to facing DUI and operating an uninsured motor vehicle charges. Bond was set at $15,000, 10 percent applies. He was released on bond. 

Aileen R. Soriano, 20, of the 500 block of Ryan Way, Crystal Lake, was arrested at 10:42 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, on a warrant out of McHenry County for leaving the scene of an accident. She also was wanted on a warrant out of DuPage County for failure to appear in court to face a driving while license suspended charge. She was charged by LITH Police with speeding and was stopped near Miller Road and Kings Gate. Soriano was released on bond. 

Domestic Battery

Chad J. Connell, 40, of the 1100 block of Pine Street, Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 10:36 a.m. Monday, July 8, and charged with six counts of domestic battery and criminal damage to property. He was turned over to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock. 

Matthew C. Frym, 31, of the 7000 block of Birchwood, Niles, was arrested at 10:32 a.m. Sunday, July 14, in the 300 block of Village Creek Drive, and charged with two counts of domestic battery. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock.
