No Injures Reported In Silo Fire

The blaze broke out Monday morning near East Dundee.

KANE COUNTY, IL — No one was injured when a silo started on fire near East Dundee Monday morning.

The East Dundee and Countryside Fire Protection Districts were called to the blaze at about 7 a.m. in the area of Route 25 in unincorporated Dundee, according to a news release from the fire district. When firefighters arrived at the scene they found a silo that was fully engulfed in flames.

The blaze was brought under control quickly, and the cause of the fire is undetermined. No one was injured in the blaze, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
