Police Looking To Identify Body Of Man Found In Harvard

The McHenry County Conservation District Police said the man was found dead in rural Harvard without an ID.

HARVARD, IL — The McHenry County Conservation District Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a man found dead May 4 in a remote, rural area of Harvard. According to a release, the department was called to investigate the death of a man who was found with no identification on him. The department has been working closely with the McHenry County Coroner’s Office, but said they've exhausted all attempts to identify the person and are asking for the public's assistance in the ongoing investigation.

According to police, the man is described as white, 50 to 65 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, approximately 225 pounds, with white hair 2 inches in length, no scars, marks or tattoos. Police added he was wearing a black fleece beanie, and a blue/brown “Swiss Tech” coat size XL, a gray knit scarf with purple trim, a size XL tan "Carhartt" zip up hoodie, "George" blue jeans, size
36x32. He also wore "Active Ankle" black braces on both ankles, and black "Asics" tennis shoes, size 11, according to police.
