Shell Casings Lead To Investigation At Huntley High School

HUNTLEY, IL — Weathered "spent shell casings" found at Huntley High School lead to an investigation at the School on Friday morning.

The casings were turned into a school resources officer at about 7:50 a.m. Friday. A hold in place and teach was enacted as police investigated the incident, according to. news release from the Huntley Police Department.

Following an investigation, the hold in place was lifted and normal school operations resumed, police said. Police are not releasing any additional information due to the "age of the individuals involved."
