Summer Sunset Fest 2019: Events, Music, More Details

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — Lake in the Hills Summer Sunset Festival is just around the corner, and you'll want to mark your calendars for the annual weekend-long event. The festival kicks off Friday, Aug. 30 and runs through Sunday, Sept. 1 at Sunset Park, 5200 Miller Road. Admission is free, as there will be plenty of food, beverages and carnival rides and activities to spend your money on. Celebrate the end to another summer during the three days of festival fun:

Schedule:

Friday, Aug. 30 — 3 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.:

• 3 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.: Windy City Amusements Carnival
• 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.: $25 unlimited carnival ride wristbands
• 3 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.: Food and beer tents
• 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.: Classic/Custom Car Show; Load in begins at 4 p.m.)
• 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.: Wine tasting
• 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Entertainment on Main Stage: TEEZE
• 7 p.m.: Family Bingo hosted by the Village of Lake in the Hills Recreation Division
• 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.: Entertainment on Main Stage: CATFIGHT

Saturday, Aug. 31 — 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.:

• 10 a.m.: Parade
• 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.: Food and beer tents
• 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Sunset Fun Zone
• 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Just Dance
• 12 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.: Windy City Amusements Carnival
• 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.: $25 unlimited carnival ride wristbands
• 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Just Dance
• 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Entertainment on Main State: Class of '68
• 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.: Wine tasting
