Sunset Skate Park Back Open, With New Equipment

The park, located on the corner of Miller and Haligus Road in Lake in the Hills, is open from 9 a.m. to dusk.

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL —Sunset Skate Park has reopened with new equipment, Lake in the Hills village staff announced Friday.

Public Works staff installed new equipment at the park as part of an ongoing plan to improve recreation opportunities in the village.

“Our team is grateful for the feedback residents have provided in recent surveys,” Public Works Director Tom Migatz said in a news release. “We look forward to the added value the new equipment will bring to the Village as the new designs will offer a fresh look and improved facilities for recreation.”
