Vehicle Collides Into Store In Marengo: Fire Officials

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — A car drove into a store in Marengo Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.

No one was injured when the vehicle crashed into the storefront in the 100 block of East Washington Street in Marengo, according to a news release from the Marengo Fire & Rescue District. The collision caused moderate damage to the building.

The driver of the vehicle was evaluated at the scene and declined further medical treatment.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
