Spend your spring break right here in beautiful Lake in the Hills! Our Spring Break Staycation events will keep your family active and engaged between March 26 to April 2. Check out the events below and use the links to register or learn more!

• Come Read With Us! Walk through our pop-up storyboard of When Spring Comes by Kevin Henkes! Stop by between March 26 to April 2 at Sunset Park, 5200 Miller Road, near the tennis courts. No registration is required for this free event! 
• Spring Break Camp: Kids will have a blast making friends, enjoying crafts, games, and activities, and taking day trips to Cosley Zoo, the Volo Auto Museum, and Cantigny Park. Spring Break camp runs from Monday, March 28 to Friday, April 1. Choose from our five-day, four-day, or three-day camp options. 
• 3-Point Madness Contest: Kids ages 9-17 will try out their shooting skills at Stoneybrook Park, Jaycee Park, Leroy Guy Park, and Ken Carpenter Park on March 30 and March 31! Then, neighborhood park competition winners will be invited to compete at the finals on Saturday, April 2 at Sunset Park. Pre-registration is preferred, but we will accept drop-in shooters at the neighborhood contests.
• Kid’s Hands-On Snack Charcuterie Board Workshop: Kids will explore their creativity and build a charcuterie board perfect for their young palettes on March 31! Children and teens ages 9-13 are invited to take part at Village Hall, 600 Harvest Gate, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Adult supervision, equipment, and supplies will be included. Allergy-friendly options available. Registration required.
• Spring Break Pup Party: Try out the Bark Park for free from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 1! If you and your pup love the park, you can sign up on-site with one of our staff members. Dogs must have current rabies and distemper vaccines and must have lived with their human for 6+ months. Paperwork required.
