Weekender: Music, Drums and Dance

It's going to be a musical weekend.

Happy Friday, Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Patch readers!

If you love music, this weekend is for you. There are several concerts planned at the Raue Center for the Arts, The Listening Room at Lakeside Legacy Arts Park, and in Woodstock.

The music ranges from Native American Indian drum and flute music to an ABBA tribute band. 


William Beckett 
8:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15
Raue Center for the Arts, 26 N. Williams St., Crystal Lake
Beckett will perform in "Lucy's Music: Sessions Series," small, black box stage set-up that allows 150 fans a truly intimate experience, according to the Raue Center. 

Douglas Blue Feather Concert
7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15
Unity Spiritual Center of Woodstock, 225 W. Calhoun, Woodstock
Douglas Blue Feather is a world class flutist and internationally known recording artist - and one of the most talented performers on the Native American flute in the world.  Tickets are $10. 815-337-3534

ABBA Mania
8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16
Raue Center for the Arts, 26 N. Williams St., Crystal Lake. 
The world’s number one touring ABBA Tribute Concert comes to the Raue Center for the Arts in Crystal Lake this weekend.


Let's Dance, Big Band Performance
7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16
Lakeside Legacy Arts Park, 401 Country Club Rd., Crystal Lake
Let's Dance Big Band will perform in 'the Listening Room' at Lakeside Legacy Arts 
Park in Crystal Lake, IL. The performance is scheduled for 7:30pm on Saturday,
