Woodstock Man Pleads Guilty To Felony Domestic Battery

During the March 2019 incident, Dennis Haradon attacked a female he was dating during a verbal argument, authorities said.

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — Dennis Haradon, from Woodstock, pleaded guilty to felony aggravated domestic battery Friday, and was sentenced by McHenry County Judge Wilbrandt to seven years in the Illinois Department of Corrections, McHenry County State’s Attorney Patrick Kenneally announced in a news release Monday. At 8 p.m. on March 3, 2019, Woodstock Police Department officers were called to 59-year-old Haradon's home for a reported domestic incident, according to the news release. Haradon and the female victim, who were involved in a dating relationship, got into a verbal argument and Haradon attacked her, injuring her face and head, according to the news release.

The victim was taken to Northwestern Medicine Hospital for her injuries, according to the news release.

The Woodstock Police Department conducted the investigation in the case, which was prosecuted by Taylor Nesbit of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office, the news release said.
