2 Suffer Graze Wounds In Crestwood Tire Shop Shooting: Police

Crestwood police believe a shooting Monday morning at a tire shop on Midlothian Parkway to be an isolated incident.

CRESTWOOD, IL — Two people suffered graze wounds in a shooting Monday morning at a tire store in Crestwood, police said.

Around 10:12 a.m., Crestwood police responded to a call of shots fired at Tires 4 Less, 4351 Midlothian Turnpike. When officers arrived they found two people with gunshot wounds.

The Crestwood Fire Department treated and transported one person to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with a graze wound in stable condition. The second person refused medical attention.

Officers determined that the shooter’s vehicle was a silver Nissan sedan that fled east on Midlothian Turnpike. Crestwood police believe the shooting to be an isolated incident with no ongoing threat to the public.
