2023 Football Schedule Released For Dwight D. Eisenhower High School

BLUE ISLAND, IL — With a little less than four weeks until the first high school football practices begin in Illinois on Aug. 7, the countdown to the fall season is officially underway. A nine-game regular season runs through the end of October, before the postseason culminates with state championship games scheduled for the weekend of Nov. 24-25 at Illinois State University.

The Illinois High School Association, in partnership with Max Preps, recently announced schedules for the varsity teams. In Alsip, Crestwood and Blue Island, fans will especially be keeping tabs on the local teams at Eisenhower and Shepard high schools, as well as the area Catholic high schools.

This fall, the Cardinals will be joined in the South Suburban Red Conference by Richards (Oak Lawn), Evergreen Park, Oak Lawn Community, Shepard (Palos Heights), Reavis (Burbank) and Argo (Summit).

Locally, Dwight D. Eisenhower High School's regular season begins at home Aug. 25 on the road, when the Cardinals faceoff against Johnson Prep. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
