Cops Stake Out Alsip And Crestwood Dunkin Donuts Locations For Special Olympics Illinois
Make a donation to Special Olympics Illinois Friday, May 16 and receive a coupon for a free donut and medium-sized coffee at Dunkin' Donuts.

ALSIP-CRESTWOOD, IL — Start your Friday morning off right by making a donation to Special Olympics Illinois and get a coupon for a free donut at Dunkin. A donation of $10 or more gets you the donut and a medium-size coffee. Officers will also be handing out giveaways (while supplies last) and selling merchandise for the Law Enforcement Torch Run.
The delightful officers of the Crestwood will be staking out the Dunkin’ Donuts at 13661 S. Cicero Ave. The Crestwood police will have Law Enforcement Torch Run merchandise for sale. Anyone making a donation will receive a coupon for a free donut and for donations over $10, a coupon for a free medium coffee. Money raised from this event benefits the athletes from Special Olympics Illinois. Since 2003, this event has raised more than $9.8 million.
“Many Crestwood officers who have been involved with the Law Enforcement Torch Run have developed personal friendships with many of the athletes and understand the importance of inclusion for individuals with intellectual disabilities,” said Officer Chris Soderland, of the Crestwood Police Department.

You'll find Alsip police over at the Dunkin' Donut locations at 122nd Street and Cicero Avenue, and 127th Street and Kostner Avenue from 5 a.m. to noon.
Representatives from the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois will be collecting money that goes directly to support programming for Special Olympics athletes across the state. The state fundraising goal for 2025 Cop On Top is $1.2 million.
