Alsip-Crestwood Schools Plan e-Learning Ahead of Winter Storm UPDATED

Alsip-Crestwood schools are closing buildings and planning e-Learning ahead of Friday's anticipated winter storm.

ALSIP-CRESTWOOD, IL — School districts are starting to announce closings in anticipation of a winter storm on Friday that could dump up to eight inches of snow in parts of the Chicago area. The National Weather Service has issued the watch starting Friday morning and ending Friday evening for Kane, DuPage, La Salle, Kendall, Grundy, Kankakee, Cook and Will counties.

While school buildings will be closed, e-Learning will be in effect Friday, gypping kids out of an actual snow day.
