Alsip Shell Celebrates Station Remodel With Holiday Cash Giveaway
Alsip Shell offers a fully stocked, modern grocery, in addition to specialty high-flow diesel trucker, kerosene, racing gas and DEF.
ALSIP, IL — Alsip Shell will be doling out cash as part of a holiday cash reward giveaway in celebration of the gas station and store’s recent remodeling. Come in anytime up to midnight through Dec. 16 and fill out a slip to enter the raffle. The drawing will take place Dec. 17.
Manager Akhil Thomas told Patch the gas station was pretty run down a year ago. The promotion is in partnership with Elite Gaming Midwest, a provider of gaming machines.
“Come in daily and put your name down for some free holiday cash,” Thomas said. “Then check out the store that’s newly remodeled and fully stocked.”

“Most stores don’t have this, and we will help any local resident who uses that,” Thomas said.
Alsip Shell is an independently owned and operated, and not a corporate location. The mini-mart has been redone with new shelving and lighting. The store is fully stocked with groceries, snacks, pop, frozen foods, ice cream, coffee, cappuccino, along with liquor, beer and wine. The gaming rooms and bathrooms have also been remodeled. Illinois Lottery will be sold.
Players will have a chance to win a third place prize of $100, second place prize of $200, and a grand prize of $500, which should come in handy during the holidays.
