Back To School: Eisenhower High School 2023-2024 Academic Calendar
Freshmen students report Aug. 16 for the first day of school, with all grades reporting Aug. 17 at Eisenhower High School in Blue Island.
BLUE ISLAND, IL — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Community High School Dist. 218 for the 2023-2024 academic school year, with calendars available to help students and parents prepare for a smooth transition into the new school year.
The first day of school for Eisenhower High School freshmen is Aug. 16. All grades report on Aug. 17.
Some dates are subject to change during the school year. We also suggest that you check the CHSD 218 calendar for late starts, early dismissals, exams, conferences, open houses, athletic and school events.

Sept. 22 - School Improvement Day, early dismissal 11:15 a.m.
Oct. 5 - Parent Teacher Conferences, noon dismissal

Oct. 9 - Columbus Day, off
Nov. 22 - 1 p.m. dismissal
Nov. 23-24 - Thanksgiving break
Dec. 22 to Jan. 8 - Winter break
Jan. 9 - School resumes

Feb. 16 and Feb. 19 - No school
March 4 - Teacher Institute Day
