Crestwood Woman Found Guilty Of Stabbing Dog
Tamica Neal, 45, is eligible either for probation or 1 to 3 years in prison after a Will County jury found her guilty of animal cruelty.

CRESTWOOD, IL — A jury found a Crestwood woman guilty of one felony count of aggravated cruelty to animals and two misdemeanor counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon following a four-day jury trial before Will County Judge John Conner.
In March, the Crest Hill Police Department was dispatched to 1906 N. Hickory St. for a disturbance involving Tamica Neal, 45, and her boyfriend.
Witnesses told police that when they tried to break up the fight between Neal and her boyfriend, Neal ran out of the bedroom and into the kitchen. Police said she grabbed a knife and swung at the witnesses, threatening to stab them.
