Fugitive Found In Blue Island, Extradited To Puerto Rico: Sheriff

The sheriff fugitive task force and U.S. Marshals received a tip that a man with a weapons charge in Puerto Rico may be Blue Island.

BLUE ISLAND, IL — A 20-year-old man was taken into custody last month on an arrest warrant for weapons offense from Mayaguez County, Puerto Rico, law enforcement said.

The Cook County Sheriff’s Fugitive Apprehensions Unit, in collaboration with the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Fugitive Task Force, learned in early May that 20-year-old Jordan Mariano-Feliciano may be in Blue Island.

He was found in the 13000 block of South Division Street. Mariano-Feliciano was transported to Cook County Jail, where he remained until he extradited back to Puerto Rico on June 13.
