Explore Firehouse #2 Saturday At Alsip Fire Department Open House
Try on fire gear, drive a fire-engine obstacle course and watch live fire demos at the Alsip Fire Department Open House, Saturday, Oct. 4.
ALSIP, IL — In honor of Fire Prevention Week, the Alsip Fire Department will host an open house this Saturday, Oct, 4. The open house runs from 1 to 3 p.m. at Alsip Firehouse #2, 11946 S. Laramie Ave.
Kids can try on kid-sized fire gear, play with hose props, slide down a real fire pole, touch a monster truck and tool around a fire engine driving course. The event also features live fire safety demonstrations, face painters and a fire engine bouncy house.
Fire Prevention Week takes place Oct. 5 through Oct. 11.
