New Bobby Jenks-Inspired T-Shirt Brings Back Memorable Era Of 'White Sox Rules'
Proceeds from T-shirt sales benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities honoring White Sox legend and Bolts' manager Bobby Jenks in cancer fight

CRESTWOOD, IL — The Windy City ThunderBolts and Chicago White Sox have teamed up on a Bobby Jenks-inspired T-shit in support of the ailing ThunderBolts manager and 2005 World Series Champion.
Bobby Jenks announced in February that he would taking an indefinite leave of absence after being diagnosed with cancer. He was named manager in 2024, and had just finished assembling his 2025 spring training roster when he received his diagnosis. He is currently receiving treatment for his cancer in Portugal, where he moved with his family this offseason.
The new Jenks T-shirt features a new addition to the memorable White Sox era of team rules, “Grinder Ball Rule #45: Fight like it’s the bottom of the 9th.” with proceeds going to one of Jenks' favorite local charities, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana.
