Passionate family man and a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran passes away at age 80.

John T. "Jack" Cullinan
Age 80, of Shorewood, and formerly Orland Park, Palos Hills and Alsip, Illinois, passed peacefully, surrounded by family, Friday morning, November 1, 2024, at Lightways Hospice Home.

Jack was born August 21, 1944, to the late Margaret (Auld) and John Cullinan in Chicago. He was raised in the Roseland neighborhood and graduated from Fenger High School. Jack proudly served his Country as a member of the US Air Force.
He is the beloved husband of 43 years to Ravina M.(Matise) Cullinan; loving father of the late Sandra Dawn Cullinan, Angela (Anthony) Kubitz, Robert (Judith) Jung and Kristie (Sean) Dwyer; devoted grandfather of Nicholas T. Cullinan, Jordan Kubitz, Cassandra Kubitz; Miranda (Carlos) Arjona, Aaron Jung; Macayla and Alyssa Dwyer; proud great-grandpa of Owen, Hazel, Zoey and Sophia; dear brother of the late James Cullinan, Carol (Niles) Bruno and Donald Cullinan. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Jack retired from Siemens Corp as a Director after many years of faithful service. His hobbies included cars, most notably Corvettes; his passion, family.
A memorial visitation for Jack will be held Friday, November 8, 2024, from 4-8 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black Rd (at Essington Rd) Joliet. A prayer service will begin Saturday morning November 9, 2024, 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment with military honors will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name can be made to Lightways Hospice of Joliet.
