Santa Lands At Worth Township To Hear Children's Wishes, Silent Santa Offered

ALSIP, IL — Skip the mall Santa and bring your kiddoes to the Worth Township Center in Alsip, where Santa is nice, and you can take as many photos as you like for FREE.

The doors to the beautifully decked Santa Room will be open to the public Dec. 9 through Dec. 10 from 4 to 7 p.m. No reservation is required. Each child will receive a small gift. Don’t forget to charge your cell phone, because we have watched young believers stop in their tracks in awe.

Visits with Santa are FREE, visitors are asked to please consider bringing a non-perishable food item for the pantry, or a new, unwrapped toy for Worth Township’s Christmas Care program, that will help fill some empty stockings for local youngsters.

Also, “Silent Santa” will meet one on one with children (or their parents) with sensory sensitivities on Dec. 8, who want to experience quiet time with Santa in a more low-key setting, without the lights, music or noise. Reservations are required for 15-minute sittings. These slots fill up fast, so parents and grandparents should reserve a time slot now, by calling 708-371-2900.

This is one of the BEST Santa experiences in the nearby south suburbs, who will actually spend time talking to your kids without shoving them off his lap for the next overpriced photo package. So skip the long lines at the mall. Take them to see Santa at Worth Township Center, 11601 S. Pulaski Road, Alsip.
