3 Suspects In Blue Island Armored Truck Heist Remain At Large

The FBI seeks the public's help in identifying three suspects in an armored truck robbery.

BLUE ISLAND, IL — The FBI is looking for three suspects who robbed an armored car Friday in Blue Island. Nobody was injured, the FBI said.

The robbery unfolded around 4:20p.m. Blue Island police and the FBI responded to an armored car robbery at U.S. Bank, 11960 S. Western Avenue, when the three purported robbers approached the Loomis armored truck with guns drawn, according to the feds.

The suspects are described as three black males in their late teens to early 20s. They were wearing dark-colored sweatpants and hooded sweatshirts, black facial coverings and light gray gloves.

All three fled in a vehicle and are currently at large.
