Windy City Thunderbolts July Promotions: Harry Potter, Superheroes, Camping Out, Mechanical Bull, And SHARKS

CRESTWOOD, IL — Harry Potter, mechanical bulls, a campout and superheroes are just a few of the tricks the Windy City ThunderBolts have up their sleeve for July. The fun happens at Ozinga Field, 14011 S. Kenton Ave., Crestwood.

Friday, 7:05 p.m., July 15 – It’s the Bolts’ annual Harry Potter Night with Postgame fireworks, featuring Harry, Hermione, Ron and another character to be announced. The first 500 kids will receive a pair of wizard wands. Butter beer (for the adults and kids) will be sold at Ozinga Field concession stands. After the game, stick around for the world-famous fireworks show.

Saturday, 6:05 p.m., July 16 at 6:05 – Country Night is back with postgame fireworks. Catch the pregame entertainment featuring the Strawdawg Band (4:15 to 5:30 pm). During the game, fans can enjoy hearing their favorite country hits all night, as well as riding a mechanical null on the concourse. Stick around after the game for the famous fireworks show.

Friday, 7:05 p.m., July 29 – Sharks + Fireworks = FUN. Any kid dressed as a shark receives a voucher for a FREE ice cream cup. The first 500 kids will receive a shark themed airplane glider. The first 500 adults 21-years of age and older will receive a can koozie from JULIE, Inc.

Saturday, 6:05 p.m., July 30 – Superhero & Camp Out Night with Postgame Fireworks presented by Trinity Christian College. Superheros, fireworks, AND a sleep-over? Make sure you're part of our annual Superhero and Camp Out Night presented by Trinity Christian College. Before the game, join the costume parade at 5:30 p.m. (must be in line by 5:15). During the game, Captain America, Spiderman and Wonder Woman will meet and greet their biggest fans. It is also the ThunderBolts’ popular Camp Out Night, where all ticketed fans are invited to sleep under the stars in their stake-less tents. Play on the field and enjoy a late night movie on the Ozinga Field video board. Popcorn and drinks will be available. In the morning, a free light breakfast will be served to campers. The ThunderBolts open the 2022 season at Ozinga Field in Crestwood on Thursday, May 12 at 7:05 pm against the Joliet Slammers. The first 500 fans will recieve a pint glass from Lakeshore Beverage. Also, there will be beer specials all night long, including $1 retro beers (12 oz Busch Light, Natural Light, Old Milwaukee), $2.50 Bud, Bud Light, Mic Ultra, PBR, Old Style 16 oz cans, $3.75 on our craft and seltzer selections. All group tickets including our box seats, suites, picnics, and Glenmark #WinCity Party Patio are available for reservation now! Single game tickets go on-sale Friday, April 1 at 10 a.m.
