Worth Township Plans Drive-Thru Backpack Giveaway Tuesday
Free prepacked backpacks for grades K-8 will be handed out Tuesday, Aug. 8, at Worth Township Center in Alsip. Must reside in the township.
ALSIP, IL — Worth Township is offering a drive-thru backpack giveaway Tuesday, Aug. 8, in Alsip. From 4 to 6 p.m., free prepacked backpacks will be handing out in the Worth Township Center parking lot, 11601 S. Pulaski Road.
The backpacks come loaded with supplies for students in grades K-12. Parents and guardians must be residents of Worth Township to qualify. A birth certificate for each child in the family receiving a backpack is also required.
Backpacks will be handed out while supplies last on a first-come, first-served basis. Enter the parking lot from the east side on Springfield Avenue. For more information, call 708-972-7835.
