1 Person Dead Following Domestic Disturbance In Arlington Heights
Police believe the deceased person is the suspect from an earlier domestic disturbance that occurred Thursday morning.
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL—The Arlington Heights Police Department is investigating a death that occurred following officers' response to a domestic disturbance that occurred Thursday morning.
According to police, officers responded to the domestic disturbance along the 2400 block of S. Goebbert Road just after 8 a.m. Police said the victim was able to safely leave the scene in a vehicle and met with responding officers at a safe location.
Police said the suspect was reported to have fled the area in a vehicle and was possibly involved in two minor hit and run traffic crashes. No one was injured in the traffic accidents, officers said.

About 24 minutes later after the initial officers responded to the first location, police then responded to the 2100 block of Arlington Heights Road for a report of a deceased person. Arlington Heights Fire Department paramedics were also called to the scene.
Police said they believe the deceased person is the suspect from the earlier domestic disturbance they responded to.

"There is no indication of any criminal activity occurring at the scene of the death investigation," police said in a news release. "Evidence suggest that this incident is contained and there is no risk to the community."
The deceased person's identity has not been released at this time. Police said they are withholding it pending notification of next of kin. Officers have not said how this person died.
