SCHAUMBURG, IL — Shai Jiwani knows a thing or two about the Altitude Trampoline Park franchise. The owner of locations in Skokie and Marietta, Georgia, recently opened her third Altitude in Schaumburg, along with her husband, Shaz Salim.

The Schaumburg location, the eighth in Illinois, is located at 1317 E. Golf Road. The Schaumburg Business Association held a ribbon-cutting ceremony earlier this month at the amusement center, which features wall-to-wall trampolines and various other attractions like soft play areas, dodgeball, basketball, interactive games and more.

"Altitude Trampoline Park is a fully immersive family entertainment experience designed for kids to have fun, stay active, and build confidence," Jiwani tells Patch. "... It's a place where kids can be themselves, burn off energy, and parents know they're in good hands."

Jiwani was selected as a Franchisee of the Year by the International Franchise Association, which she says demonstrates her commitment to growing the Altitude brand. Founded in Dallas, Texas in 2012, Altitude Trampoline Park is nearing 100 locations centered in the United States, but also with some in other countries.

For Jiwani, opening a location in Schaumburg was a pretty easy decision.

"Schaumburg is a family-focused community with a high concentration of young households, strong school districts, and a steady demand for kid-friendly activities," she said. "The area already draws families from surrounding suburbs for shopping and dining, so Altitude adds to that destination appeal by offering an active indoor experience that’s both fun and accessible year-round."

Jiwani says with the other two locations, her and her husband have learned to "fine-tune the guest experience." This has helped with staffing and training, marketing, and operations.

"We've also seen firsthand how important it is to tailor our approach to each community, whether it's partnering with local schools, hosting fundraisers, or offering flexible party packages that meet local demand," Jiwani said. "All of that experience will be key in making our Schaumburg park a go-to destination for families in the area."

Altitude memberships start at $27.95 per month, giving members unlimited daily access to jump and play. In addition, the Schaumburg location will host Friday Night Friendzy's and Saturday Night Glow Nights from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. For the first month of operation, guests can enter a giveaway to win free access to either event.
