Annual Stroll And Shop Soiree Benefits Arlington Heights Arts Centre

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Organizers of a popular annual event that highlights Arlington Heights businesses and other local organizations are beginning to finalize plans for another big turnout and announced recently that they expect a sellout crowd at this year’s soiree.

The 19th annual fall fundraiser, Metropolis Arts Stroll and Shop Soiree, will be held from 4:30-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21. Tickets for the event are $50 and will provide eventgoers with access to a large collection of vendors highlighting local businesses.

Organizers announced last week that they are expecting at least 250 Arlington Heights social, civic, and business leaders to attend. The event is the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre’sannual fundraiser that features shopping, drink and treat stops, a raffle, and appetizers all from local Arlington Heights businesses. Attendees also get 20 percent off tickets to Metropolis’ Fall show, “Cabaret”.

All proceeds benefit Metropolis’ theatrical and arts education programs.

Organizers said that one of the main attractions of the Stroll and Shop Soiree is a raffle that offers more than 15 baskets featuring items and certificates from participating retailers, local restaurants, and entertainment venues. Attendees can purchase 20 raffle tickets for $20 and raffle baskets will include a variety of items and gift cards from our local shops, restaurants, and vendors!

The ticket price will increase to 20 Raffle Tickets for $25 day the day of the event and so attendees are encouraged to purchase tickets now. Raffle winners will be pulled at the end of the event and will be posted at Metropolis for pick up after the event, organizers said. Winners must be present at Metropolis to win and claim their raffle item.

Featured Arlington Heights retailers for the event include Ala Mode Collections, Brackett & Company Home Accents, Charisma, Eiffel Flower, Le Obsession Boutique, Thrill Vintage, and Upstairs Boutique & Gift. Featured vendors include Sheets by Karen and TSG Designs.

Other vendors for the Stroll and Shop Soiree include Beer on the Wall, Bottle & Bottega, Coco & Blu Café, Kilwin's Arlington Heights, Metropolis Performing Arts Centre, and Vintages Wine Shop along with Tuscan Market & Wine Shop.
