Arlington Heights Crime Alert: Wallet Taken from Shopping Cart, Passenger Side Mirror Broken

Criminal Damage to Vehicle

The passenger side mirror on a black, 2010 Ford Escape was broken by unknown offender(s) as it was parked in a residential driveway in the 700 block of E. Hintz Road sometime between Aug. 20 at 7:30 p.m. and Aug. 21 at 7:20 a.m. Damages are estimated at $500.

A pink Vera Bradly wallet ($7) was removed from a victim’s shopping cart at Target, 1700 E. Rand Rd. on Aug. 21 between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The wallet contained keys, credit and debit cards, an Illinois driver’s license and $220 in cash.

A 26-inch women’s blue Magna Great Divide bicycle ($85) was removed from a bike rack near the Metra train depot parking lot, 45 W. Northwest Hwy. on Aug. 21 between 7:10 a.m. and 7 p.m.
